Visit the Vranjina Visitor Center and learn more about the rich heritage.

Before you set out to explore the largest freshwater lake in the Balkans, learn more about its rich heritage with the help of the Skadar Lake National Park educators. They will be happy to inform you about the characteristic plant and animal species and cultural and historical landmarks at the Vranjina Visitor Center.

At the Center in Vranjina, through a collection of exhibits characteristic of all five protected areas, various photographs and models of the rich cultural heritage and promotional material at the information desk, and with a beautifully designed Ethno Room that evokes the spirit of the traditional way of life, you will get a picture of the values of the NPCG and an additional motive to visit them during the summer season.

Also here, all nature lovers and tourists who like to enjoy the colors and summer landscapes of the lake will be able to get information about the diverse tourist offer, walking and hiking along its shores, cruising, kayaking, sport fishing, sandy beaches, fishing villages, and wine routes.

In addition to being interesting for tourist visits, the Center in Vranjina is also the main place for education of numerous organized school groups where diverse and meaningful interactive thematic workshops are organized on the occasion of important ecological dates.
